ABOUT LAURYN
Before turning my passion for real estate into my profession, I graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and spent more than a decade working in high-level communications in the U.S. Navy at the Pentagon and overseas, with Colorado tech start-ups, and at the National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL).
I believe my experience as a strategic communications advisor navigating crisis situations and sensitive issues sets me apart as a realtor. In a competitive real estate market like Denver, I serve as my clients' trusted advocate and put my negotiation skills to work to help achieve their goals. With a degree in economics, I go beyond the headlines and dig into the data so that I can advise my clients about the realities of the market and help teach them how to build wealth through real estate.
Vision
For me, the word 'homeport' truly embodies the experience I seek to provide my clients. When I was in the Navy, I would spend days, weeks and months out to sea, and no matter how long I was underway, returning to my ship's homeport filled me with the anticipation and excitement that one gets when they're almost home after a journey long. Every time the Navy gave me orders to move someplace new, I would leave my homeport filled with nostalgia before taking off on my next adventure. So it's these 'homeport' emotions that drive me to provide superior service for my clients.
Before becoming a professional realtor, I bought three properties and sold one so I am intimately familiar with what it's like to be a home buyer or home seller. Simply, I understand the stressors and unknowns that arise when making such an impactful decision. As a result, I view it as my mission to always add value by serving as my client's strategic advisor, trusted advocate, and expert negotiator before, during, and after their real estate transaction.
I'm lucky to have found a career that fulfills me and allows me to help others in meaningful ways. While I know that no two transactions are the same, it's my hope that all my home buyers are filled with excitement about their home purchase and that all my home sellers are filled with nostalgia as they move onto their next chapter.
